Shristi Shrestha is a resilient and accomplished advocate for women’s empowerment. Originally from Nepal, she embarked on a remarkable journey at a young age, traveling to India to pursue her dream of becoming a chartered accountant. Her dedication and hard work led her to a successful career in Banking and Education, where she thrived for eight years in India. In 2018, Shristi moved to Canada, where she transitioned into roles within the hospitality and not-for-profit sectors before finding her footing in the Financial Planning department at Humber College.
In 2024, Shristi made history as the first-ever Mrs. Nepal Canada, earning this prestigious title as a symbol of empowerment for women across communities. She further distinguished herself on the global stage as a finalist at Mrs. Canada 2024, where she was awarded the subtitle of Queen of Wisdom. Shristi’s accomplishments have garnered recognition from institutions such as the Embassy of Nepal and the Office of the Member of Provincial Parliament, who honored her for her outstanding leadership and community contributions.
Fluent in six languages, Shristi continues to break down cultural barriers and foster meaningful connections through her work. As a recipient of the Shashkay Women Empowerment Award and a nominee for the Elite Women in Power award, her influence extends beyond her professional achievements. Through her role as a community outreach member for the Niagara International Film Festival and her ongoing advocacy efforts, Shristi remains committed to promoting diversity, inclusivity, and the empowerment of women worldwide.
