Meet and Greet: Strengthening Our Bonds at Trillium Foundation
On September 12, 2024, Trillium Foundation held an inspiring Meet and Greet event. Hosted at our office, the gathering was designed to foster stronger relationships and contribute to the success of the Foundation. The energy in the room was palpable as we discussed our shared vision and future endeavors.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the President, Lilen Gurung, who highlighted the importance of building a collaborative environment. Team-building was a central theme of the gathering, underscoring our belief that the strength of the Foundation lies in the collective efforts of each member. Attendees participated in interactive activities aimed at promoting open dialogue, encouraging collaboration, and building trust. These initiatives helped break down barriers and offered everyone a chance to share their perspectives.
Team emphasized the importance of listening to the needs of the communities we serve and building sustainable partnerships that drive impact. Program Director, Bal Krishna Dhakal’s engaging presentation inspired team to consider how they could contribute more to Trillium’s growing list of initiatives, including events like the CMC Asian Food & Cultural Festival and the recent Teej Festival.
The informal discussions that followed gave everyone a chance to connect on a deeper level. Board members were able to share stories, experiences, and ideas for future projects. Conversations about inclusion, sustainability, and transformation echoed throughout the venue, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to addressing relevant and pressing social issues.
As the event wrapped up, the sense of unity and purpose was undeniable. The Meet and Greet reinforced that the Trillium Foundation is not just an organization, but a community of passionate individuals dedicated to making a lasting impact. We left with strengthened bonds and renewed energy to continue our important work in service of a better future for all.
