Keshab Dahal (Legal Advisor)

Keshab Dahal, a distinguished legal professional, has been a member of the Ontario Bar since June 2016. With the esteemed titles of Barrister and Solicitor, he has dedicated his practice to the nuanced fields of immigration and refugee laws. His academic journey in law began at the prestigious Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto, followed by the completion of the Law Practice Program at Ryerson University, which paved the way for his call to the Bar.

Prior to his tenure in Ontario, Dahal was called to the Bar in Nepal in 1995, where he honed his legal expertise for six years in private practice. His commitment to justice and legislative reform led him to join United Nations agencies, contributing significantly to these areas in Nepal until 2012. This international experience is complemented by his robust academic credentials, holding a Master’s Degree in Laws from Nepal and a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Netherlands.
