Trillium Teej 2025: A Tapestry of Nepali Arts, Culture & Identity
Teej is more than a festival — it is a celebration of Nepal’s living culture, traditions, and heritage passed down through generations. At Trillium Foundation, we honor this spirit by creating platforms where arts and culture come alive, reminding us of our shared roots and identity.
The festival opened with the soulful sounds of Mangal Dhun performed by Himalayan Vibes, setting a tone of tradition and reverence. The stage then came alive with vibrant dances, soulful Teej and folk songs, and colorful cultural expressions that celebrated Nepal’s diverse heritage. The cultural fashion show, too, became a striking symbol of how tradition and modernity can beautifully coexist.
While each of these performances will be highlighted in their own segments, together they formed the heart of Teej — a reminder that culture is not just celebrated but lived, sung, danced, and expressed in every gesture.
Through these artistic expressions, Trillium Foundation continues to reflect its vision — “Together, Empowering Minds, and Transforming Communities” — by preserving heritage, fostering pride in our identity, and sharing the beauty of Nepali culture with the wider Canadian community.
