Former Vice President of NRNA, a passionate and dedicated community leader, Mr. Shrestha has actively contributed to organizations such as NRNA Canada, Nepalese Canadian Cricket Club, Chitwan Society Canada, Canada Nepal Friendship & Cultural Society, and Laligunras Sports & Cultural Club. His achievements include securing government grants to empower youth through sports and culture, strengthening Nepal–Canada ties through sports diplomacy, and advancing charitable initiatives.

For his remarkable service to Canadian society, he was honored with the Outstanding Asian Canadian Award in 2014 by the Canadian Multicultural Society.
