Dr. Sreekumar Radhakrishna Pillai brings over 15 years of interdisciplinary expertise in social research, mental health, and community program evaluation to the Trillium Foundation Board. With a PhD in Psychology and a strong background in data analytics, he has led and supported numerous applied research and AI projects across Canada. His work with community organizations, particularly in immigrant and refugee support, is rooted in evidence-based planning and inclusive development. As a published author and experienced project manager, Dr. Pillai offers strategic insight and
analytical rigor to Trillium’s mission of empowering communities through meaningful, data-informed initiatives. 

With a PhD in Psychology and over 15 years of experience in social research, mental health, data science, and community development, Dr. Pillai brings a rare blend of analytical excellence and deep human empathy. Having lived and worked across Asia, Africa, and North America, he carries a global perspective with a local heart — especially for immigrants, refugees, and marginalized communities here in Canada.
