Sonam Wangchuk, born in Kalimpong, India, received early education at the Tibetan School Foundation in Mussoorie. After high school, he taught Physical Education in Dehradun and actively served as Youth Congress President until 2000.
In Toronto, Sonam’s passion for Tibetan causes led him to serve as Vice President of the Tibetan Youth Congress from 2002 to 2005. He graduated from the Real Estate College of Ontario in 2015 and began his successful real estate career with Royal Canadian Realty Brokerage. Between 2017 and 2023, he earned 10 prestigious awards.
Since 2023, Sonam has been serving as Vice President of the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre, the largest Tibetan cultural centre in Canada.
